Edith Atkinson Logan age 79 of Mt. Olive, AL formerly of the Wayside Community passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 in the St. Vincent’s East Medial Center in Birmingham, AL. Born June 12, 1938 in Fayette, County, AL she is the Daughter of the late Kelsie and Flonetta Lucas Atkinson and the Wife of the late Charles William Logan. She was raised in the Wayside Community and had lived in the Birmingham area most of her life. She was a member of the North Gardendale Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 Sons, Michael Logan of Bradford, AL, Mark William Logan of Arley, AL and David Wayne Logan of Boldo, AL 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, and A Sister, Janice Ann Pearman of Mt. Olive, AL. She was also preceded in death by a Brother, James Atkinson and a Sister, Mary Dean Atkinson Rivers. Services held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Old Union Cemetery. Norwood Funeral Home of Guin, AL directing.
