Lisa Smith age 56 of Guin, Al passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Born in Winfield, AL she is the daughter of Bill and Leatrice South Overton and the wife of Bill Smith, Jr. She had lived in Guin most of her life, and was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was a CNA at Diversicare Nursing Home in Winfield, and also cleaned the Guin Post Office, Guin Housing Authority, and the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Lisa was always doing things for other people. She is survived by her husband, Bill Smith, Jr. of Guin, AL, a daughter, Kimberly Davis, (Greg) of Guin, AL, 2 sons, Bill Smith III (Chenell) of Sulligent, AL and Kyle Smith (Lee) of Guin, AL, a sister, Cynthia Holmes (Scott) of Dothan, AL and a brother, Wayne Overton (Amy) of Hackleburg, AL 8 Grandchildren, Brayden, Hunter, Jake, Olivia, Piper, Kylee, Lily, and Claire, and her parents, Bill and Leatrice Overton of Winfield, AL. Services held Sunday 3:00 PM from the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. David Crowe and Bro. Wayne Overton officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Guin, AL directing.
