Rose Marie Videnich Black Harrison, age 60, of Guin, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi due to complications of the coronavirus. Rose spent her life selflessly dedicated to caring for her family and for others. In life, she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, grandmother and nurse. She loved to read, spend time with her family, and she loved to cook. She was well-known and remembered for her delicious banana pudding and her strawberry shortcake. She loved Alabama Football, snapchatting with her family, especially daughters and grandchildren, and was always ready for a conversation with her family and friends. Her compassionate and giving nature was contagious, which made her a great nurse. Her entire nursing career, of 30 years, was spent caring for geriatric residents in the nursing home setting. For over 25 years, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the nursing home in Winfield, AL and finished out her life as a registered nurse at Marion Regional nursing home in Hamilton, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Edward Videnich and Emma Jean Green Gilbreath; her baby sister who died at birth, Carolyn Chaney; brothers, Joseph Videnich and Frank Videnich Jr; her dogs, Lady, Fancy, Bea, Wally & Willy; and her kitty cat, Bella. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Harrison; her daughters, Jennifer Black, Amanda Williams (Kevin), Jessica Black; stepson, Benjamin Harrison; sisters, Kathy Perry (Bill) and Sherri Jolly (John); grandchildren, Cayla Howell, Megan Williams, Malorie Bishop, Melanie Bishop, Wesley Williams, Sara Howell, Macie Bishop, Peyton Harrison, Marlie Wallace and Malia Wallace; and many other relatives all of whom she loved and cherished. Her life was a perfect example of her servant heart. She was a Believer and was prepared to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her legacy will live on through her family in which she instilled compassion, an incredible work ethic and the power of a giving heart. Private graveside service in Guin City Cemetery. There will be a memorial service held at First Baptist Church in Guin, AL; date and time to be announced.
